I am currently working at the Kopp Drug Store located on Moore Street in Huntingdon, where I have been the Pharmacist Manager for approximately 8 ½ years. My career with Kopp Drug, however, began as early as 1985, when I began as a pharmacy intern at the Pleasant Valley store and then first as a pharmacist in Bellwood upon my graduation from Duquesne University in 1988. In addition to my pharmacy degree, I have also completed an accredited course specializing in respiratory care. Though the rewards are many, to me, the greatest one for working in retail, and more specifically, Kopp Drug, is that both not only offer, but encourage the opportunity to connect and interact with people.

Upon graduation in 1976 I became Manager of the Bellwood location, from 1978 to 1993 I was manager of the Huntingdon location. In 2002, I returned to Kopp Drug and am currently working at different locations in the Altoona area.
I have a special interest in nutritional supplements. My primary goal in pharmacy is counseling and making sure the patient understands and has a working knowledge of the medications they're taking - either rx or otc.
